How does Platia handle Saudi e-invoicing under ZATCA?
Saudi e-invoicing is governed by ZATCA and delivered through the Fatoora platform, which requires invoices to be issued in the mandated format with the required fields, and, under Phase 2 (Integration), cleared or reported through ZATCA before or after issue depending on invoice type. Platia holds the underlying billing, service charge and receivable records and can produce and exchange the required invoice data as part of the agreed implementation scope, working alongside an accredited e-invoicing solution provider where clearance and cryptographic stamping are required. Confirm the exact integration model and current phase obligations for your entity with your tax adviser and with Platia during scoping.
Is Platia ready for UAE e-invoicing?
The UAE is introducing a mandated electronic invoicing regime on a phased timetable. Platia maintains invoice, contract and service charge data in a structured form so it can be mapped to the required exchange format, and the connector approach is confirmed during implementation. Applicable dates and obligations for your entity should be confirmed with your tax adviser.
